TDF09 – Stage 1 Preview

The 2009 TDF begins in Monaco, in the same area and using some sections of the famous Formula 1 GP circuit. The TT course a little long to be classed as a Prologue is 15.5km in length beginning with the first 7.5km mainly up hill to the Côte De Beausoleil classed a cat 4 climb.

There are a few standouts with this light that out of the box will have you impressed. Firstly, the quality of the finish - this is a very well made light that has been well designed and thought through. Secondly, it's a very compact unit - the headlight itself is very small which makes it easy to find a place on your bars for it to live and the battery pack is nice and compact with a well designed velcro fastener.

      With nicely rounded corners and a very fat body, these levers set a new standard. Zero flex, no sharp bits and a good feel in the hand, I was surprised at how easily these levers prised my Conti tyres off. Two very big thumbs up.
